Commercial software
Legal and privacy
SavyScan SDK is proprietary software licensed for authorized trials and commercial applications.
01 / Rights
Commercial license
SavyScan SDK is proprietary software. Its public npm package is available for convenient installation, but downloading or possessing the package does not make it open source and does not by itself grant permission to use it.
Evaluation requires a valid time-limited trial license. Production use requires a valid commercial license for the applications, domains, environments, term, and scope stated in the applicable order or written agreement. Licensed customers may bundle the SDK only as an inseparable component of an authorized application; standalone redistribution, resale, sublicensing, reverse engineering, and bypassing license validation are prohibited.
02 / Data boundary
SDK privacy
Published 0.4.0 and SavyScan SDK 0.5.0-beta.7 process camera frames and selected images locally in browser memory. They do not upload documents, persist them in browser storage, send telemetry, perform license checks, or contact a SavyScan service.
The consuming application controls every network request, upload, email, storage decision, access policy, and retention period after the SDK returns a Blob.
03 / Optional operations
Operational reporting remains separate
The production reporting service is deployed and connected to production host. An integration's backend—not the SDK or browser—authenticates and relays a closed set of coarse lifecycle observations. No reporting bearer key is embedded in browser code.
The closed reporting contract excludes document images and bytes, OCR or document text, customer and reference values, filenames, email recipients or content, URLs, IP addresses, raw user-agent strings, location, persistent device identifiers, client wall-clock timestamps, free-form messages, and arbitrary metadata. Application logs omit request bodies, credentials, and client UUIDs; hosting infrastructure logs require a separate access and retention review.
Reported milestones are operational observations, not proof of image quality, PDF correctness, attachment delivery, inbox receipt, or device support. A July 23, 2026 controlled production host workflow confirmed the live relay and aggregate views. Daily 90-day cleanup is scheduled; its status, timing, policy, and aggregate deletion counts are exposed only through the private owner dashboard.
